The Start of a New Adventure (World: Main)

Dejected Delovere looked at Target, "Get me a cat. And Mz Zora Target is a doctor, one of the best. You don't need the med ward."

Delovere turned to go to the pet store, "Look after her."

Target looked at Zora, "Please don't move. You could have a concussion from your um...cat looking thing."

"I'll be careful! I promise!" She held out her pinky. "I heard that this is a method of promising. It's called a 'pinky swear', I think..."

But Ima also looked over to her next opponent. "But I don't think that she want to battle me, I heard her say something about a towel. Doesn't that mean you want to quit?" The child looked at the teen, confused. "Why a towel?"

"A concussion...? From Kuro? You gotta be kidding me!" Zora said. "If he was the cause, I wouldn't be consious rigth now!" She turned around and startede heading out of the arena. "Anyways, I'm perfectly fine! I'm only going in there to teach a certain bean sprout a lesson in stealing animals."

"Heh.."

Takato nodded and clasped her pinky with his metal one, making sure to not hurt her. He then blinked and nodded "If she means to throw in the towel, then I believe she wishes to give up. I guess you win by default..."

He then ginned and scratched his head

"What are you going to do with the prize money and reward?"

Target sat on the ground and just stared after the two girls, "Life isn't fair." he sighed.

Delovere ran into the pet store,"Gimme a kitty nao!"

The store manager looked at her, "We don't carry normal pets here in Magnolia Town. Plus we're all out of -cats-"

Giving the guy a tight look, "Fine give me a dog."

Appraising her for a second he led her to the cages with the dogs and let her pick one. After she paid and left he muttered, "Was she even listening? Oh well not ma problem now."

"Meow~~~."

Kuro sat on Takato's stomach, looking up at the injured mage. His tail moved from left to right slowly as he meowed again.

"Uwah!" Ima gasped as she saw the adorable fluffy black thing on her new friend. She quickly oicked it up and stared at it. "It's so fluffy!" She said as she moved it in her arms so she could easily stroke it. "What is it?"

She also looked at Takato. "I didn't think I would win...you and then other two can split it. I already got what I wanted."

"C-C-C-C-C-C..."

Takato froze up and began to twitch, his face become stiff as his lips twitched out the distorted word. His hair spiked from the deep raw fear running through his veins, and his mind grew blank for a few moments, his eyes focusing on the cat.

Then, it happened.

He fainted.

Delovere was bouncing back to Target puppy in tow when she saw the pipsqueak faint. Despite her urge to slice him she ran to him and gave him a hard slap.

"Wake Up, crybaby, Target wake this moron up,"

Target came over and put a mixture by his nose, "Gosh, this guy always in some kind of trouble."

Looking surprised both at seeing her new friend faint and the other person come up and hit him, Ima just stood there for a moment. She put down the C-C-C-C-C-C, as Takato had called it, and poked the tall lady.

"Hey, don't hurt him!" She said with a weird feeling in her gut that she couldn't identify. "He's hurt enough as it is! And what is he doing?" She pointed to the man who was with her.

Kuro meowed as he walked on Takato's chest. He tilted his head before pulling out the same bucket (out of nowher) and hitting him on the head.

"Wow...guess the old saying of 'boys are better than girls' doesn't apply with you, ya damn thief." Zora said as she stood there, crossing her arms. She grabbed him by the collar and shook him. "WAKE UP SO I CAN BEAT THE HELL OUT OF YOIU!!!!"

"Firstly alien you have no right to question me, but if you must know it's cat not what the hell you were trying to say & that man is Target & he's a damn good doctor, he's trying to wake up your boyfriend." Delovere said in a huff she was tired of having to answer to people.

Her new pup she named Kaede started to growl a bit at the alien girl but it died down when Delovere gave him a stern warning with her eyes.

Target looked up at the alien girl, "Just trying to wake him" he said gently.

"Meow."

A voice purred as Takato jerked awake and flipped away from everyone, crouching down as his metal hand fell to his side. His eyes had change, unfocused and almost slitted. His expression was oddly innocent and he slowly brought up his fleshed arm, his hand bending slight. A glow flared alive around the hand as his nails gained a mystical colour.

Then, he hissed.

"Mraaaaaaeeeeeeeeoow!"

The Neko-Ken was a dangerous method, being banned in every land (with the remaining training manuals even warning that teaching this technique was overly stupid). Still, even though it gave the user an insane fear of cat, it also granted them great power when that fear becomes too great.

Takato-Neko growled and then vanished, phasing alive between the small girl and Delovere, a feral smile painted on his quirky lips. His slitted amber eyes simply stared at Delovere and the others, glowing wildly...

"Mreeeeeeeeeow!"

"The.......fuck......?" Zora said, looking at Takato like he was a looney (probably is).

Kuro walked up to Takato and meowed innocently before turning into nothing but a shadow and covering his entire body.

"What the F@!$&" was all Delovere could manage. "Seriously is this the day for the stupid ones."

Delovere sat on the ground and played with the dog's ears and looked totally uninterested.

"Cat boy behave and sit your ass down."

Ima just stared at Takato. What on this world had happened to him? He seemed be acting like a wild version of that 'cat' thingy. The question was why. As fascinating as this was, Ima had the feeling that something bad was going to happen.

"Ta...kato?" The child reached out to touch him. "Are you...okay?"

Takato-Neko simple purred at Ima before narrowing his eyes at the cat and swiping his fleshed hand. The air seemed to scream and the seats behind the small creature were torn apart by an invisible slicing motion, the nails on his hand glowing wildly. He smirked to smirk, showing slightly longer teeth as he began to walk towards Target, Delovere, and Zora.

Then, he meowed.

His form vanished, appearing before Target and lashing out at him with his fleshed arm, a small shock wave bouncing forwards off the air from the sheer speed of the strike, not to mention the raw force within the Neko-Ken power.

OOC: Neko-Ken = Cat Fist.
"This state manifests by fighting like an unrestrained wild animal, using his power more efficiently, as well as the ability to attack his surroundings with air pressure swipes powerful enough to shred trees, floorboards or water blasts"

Zora acted quickly and pushed Target out of the way, taking the hit herself. "All right, ya damn bean sprout! You want a fight, you're gonna get one!" she shouted as her right arm grew big and she slashed at the human neko.

Kuro turned back into his cat form and jumped on Takato's back, biting at his head.

Delovere remained seated and stared at Target "Leave nuisance."

Watching Zora she guessed she should join but why more interesting to watch.

Blinking, Ima just thought for a moment. Takato wasn't acting at all like he had before. He seemed to be almost an entirely different being. Was that a normal thing cats did to people?

She didn't want to hurt him again. He was her first Earth friend afterall. But if she didn't somehow stop him would he regret it later? Would he ever be normal again? Tears formed in her eyes as her childish panic increased.

What should she do?

"Takato, stop..." The girl whispered, even though it would do nothing.

Takato-Neko was hit by the arm, but simply flipped in mid air, and landed on all fours, trying to fling the certain creature off with a high pitched growl and a spark of eletric magic around his body. His cat-like eyes stared at Zora as he hissed before he paused suddenly.

His ears seemed to be twitching.

"Nyah?"

He turned around, looking at the small girl before cocking his head innocently, blinking with wide eyes as he held up a bent hand. His eyes blinked a few more times as he meowed in question, his fleshed hand softly rubbing against the cheek of the girl

"Meow?"

Ima blinked and tried her best to rub the liquid from her eyes. What was it? This had never happened to her before. The human body was so strange...even though she hadn't been in the body long at all. Was she malfunctioning? It wouldn't stop...

She gave up trying to wipe away the tears and grabbed Takato's hand with both of her much smaller ones. "Takato, Ple-please stop. You're go-gonna hurt someone and, and I don't think you wa-want that." The child whispered, hiccuping a bit between words. "Please?"

Takato-Neko blinked and then purred as he seemingly pulled her into a hug, his eyes closing as he tried to comfort her. His breathing became calm, and there were noticeable differences in his stance. When he opened his eyes he seemed to be confused, if not happy.

"Eh? Ima? What the...?"

It then came back to him. Neko-Ken. That cat had drove him scared, and his mind simply went into a blank. Either way, he was happy to be out of that state. You see, he was completely a cat within Neko-Ken. Hell, if someone had thrown a ball of yarn or some catnip he would of been easy prey.

Best keep that silent for now though..

"Heh...sorry."

"Tch." Zora said as she grabed him by his collar. "Just what the hell is wrong wit hyou, bean sprout!?"

"Meow." Kuro said as he climbed his way on top of his head and fell asleep.

"Well that was interesting enough," yawned Delovere as she got up brushing off her bum. Kaede jumped on her shoulder and gave her a lick on her face as she walked over to the cat boy.

"Are you okay now shrimp?" she asked half-concerned half wanting to still kick his ass all over the town.
