The First Shop Tournament: Sign Up Day

"N-No guard" She hesitates as he performs a damage check, revealing Hey Yo, Pineapple. She places the card in the damage zone, awaiting for Hirotama's next attack.

"Next, Mecha Trainer will boost Cyclone Blitz's attack!" he called out as the player wearing the purple jersey opened its arms out, moving to strike at the young knight again. "Also, I'll Soul Bl-" he said, stopping as he saw there were no cards underneath his Vanguard. "Damn... it looks like your safe from the Soul Blast... still, this attack is for 11 thousand power."

"No guard." Sera repeats the process, gaining a Draw Trigger and drawing a card. "Stand and Draw." Since she went first last turn, she didn't need to stand as she drew her next card. "Umm....Ride, Iris Knight!" Overtop the Squire stood a rather beautiful knight, holding a sword with its hilt as an Iris.

"C-Call!" She said as she moved up Shieldseed, calling a Carolla Dragon behind it as well as a Glass Beads Dragon on the other front unit circle.

"Boosted by Carolla Dragon, I attack yoru vanguadr with Shieldseed Squire for 13k!" She declares as she rests bost the units. The small warior dashes towards Wonder Boy, jumping up and slashing down with its sword.

"A weak attack like that won't stop me..." he called out with a cocky tone. "No guard..." The damage check was not a trigger, only another Cyclone Blitz.

"Skill." She takes Shieldseed and puts it on top of her deck. "When this unit hits the Vanguard, I can search for a Bladeseed Squire and call it rested on the field." She looks through her deck, pulling out Bladseed and placing it behind Glass Beads, then shuffles.

"Iris attacks Wonder Boy!" Sera said as she rests her vanguard. "Drive Check." She flips over her card, revealing no trigger.

Hirotama gritted his teeth as he hadn't known anything about the Squire's skill. After all, it was a new clan that almost no one could use. He too the damage for the second attack, revealing a critical trigger. "Oh now your in for it! I'll give the power boost to my Vanguard! Let's see you hit me now!" His boy let out a roar of power as its power rose to 13k.

"Trigger..? IF that's the case..." She mutters as Sera places her hand on Glsass. "Glass Beads Dragon attacks Cyclone Blitz."

"I don't need that weak unit any more anyway," Hirotama said as Cyclone Blitz left the field in a puff of powder from the attack. "If that's all, I'll take my turn now and show you real power!"

"C-Counter...Blast..." Sera hesitates as she was trying to recall what Nova did with a Counter Blast. After a moment, she flips the two cards in her Damage Zone and draws a card. "When Glass's attack hits, I can draw a card. Turn end.....right?"

Hirotama drew his card as he looked at what was in his hand. He gave a small glare as he thought to himself. She has a little talent to know how to use a few skills, but her units aren't all that strong. I'll take em out here... "Its time for my Power Ride!" he called out as he set down his card. "Ride, MVP Black Panther!" Over the Wonder Boy, a humanoid panther appeared(10k). "I'll also call out two High Speed Brakki! and I'll use my own counterblast. Mecha Trainer, make way for the powerhouse!"

He flipped his damage as Mecha Trainer was sent to the Drop Zone. In his place, a Wonder Boy appeared under Black Panther. "With these I can win, but one more thing... I call Silent Joker! Joker's skill. I can add it to the soul and unflip a damage! That means I've got two cards in soul. Now, Brakki, attack! With a Soul blast, the power is 14 thousand!"

"No guard." Sera takes a card from the top of her deck and flips it over, revealing Young Knight of Leaves, Genes. She places him in the Damage zone before turning back to Hirotama. "If I'm correct...Does Brakki return to yoru deck after this battle?"

Hirotama picked up the card and said, "Yeah, that's right, but it did its job." He Brakki back into his deck before pointing at the other Brakki. "Now its your turn to attack! Soul Blast! Hit that knight with you full power!"

The attack hits as she damage checks again. "Heal Trigger." She says as Sera takes one of her coutnerblasted cards and sents it to the drop zone. "I give power to Iris and heal one damage."

The boy gave a small grin as he said, "You might've thought that saved you, but I still have an attack to go. Wonder Boy, boost Black Panther for a full powered attack!" As the beast charged forth, Hirotama picked up the top card of his deck, revealing General Sayfried, not a trigger.

"I guard with Watering Elf!" Sera Throws down a stand trigger int he guardian circle, blocking his attack as she tosses it in the drop Zone. "Stand and Draw." She stands her untis and draws befoer taking one card in her hand and putting it over her vanguard. "Ride! Maiden of Trailing Roses!"

Iris Knight disappears in replace of a girl with purple, curly hair and adorned in a flowerly dress (11k).

"I call Hey Yo, Pineapple to the field!" NExt to her and in front of Carolla Dragon was a rather gangster looking pineapple. She rests both units and points. "I attack MVP Panther with Pineapple boosted by Carolla! HE gains +3k attack for 4 or more Neo Nectar units on teh field for a total of 19k!"

"That attack's too weak!" he said as he placed a hand on one of his cards. "I'll guard it with my Cheer Girl Tiara!" A pink haired cheerleader appeared in front of the Panther, taking the hit and disappearing as Hirotama gave a grin. "Nice try, but you aren't going to win this match."

"We'll see about that!" Sera glares at him, more ticked off at his cockyness as she rests blade and Glass. "I'll attack with Glass for 16k, then!"

"I'll g-" he stopped himself as he looked at his hand and realized he only have one unit left to guard with, and the shield wan't enough. The hit went through, the trigger revealed to be a Devil Sumoner.

~Yes~ Sera's face brightens up as she manages to hit him. She shakes her head as she goes on focusing, resting her Vanguard and rearguard. "I'll attack MVP with Trailing roses for 11k!"

"That's all?" he said with a grin. "Devil Summoner guard! You won't break through with a weak attack like that!"

"Twin Drive..." She takes the top card form her deck and flips it, reveailng only another Maiden of Trailing Roses. "Second check." She flips anotehr one, revealing Shieldseed squire. Sera sighs lightly as she looks up at Hirotama with a smile. "No trigger. That ends my turn."

In his mind, Hirotama gave a sigh of relief that she hadn't hit. He drew his card with a grin and said, "Now... its time for you to face true power. I Ride, General Sayfried!" A large robotic looking man appeared in the Panther's place, glaring down at the girl. (10k) "I'll go straight into battle! Wonder Boy boost, Sayfried attack! Also, with Sayfriend's skill, attacking gives it an extra three thousand power!"

"Perfect guard, Maiden of Blossom Rain!" Sera places the grade 1 on the guardian circle as she takes a card from her hand. "I discard Dancing Sunflower to activate it's skill. Your attack cannot hit."

Hirotama grinned lightly as he looked at his deck. "I can't hit, huh? Let's see about that. Twin Drive!" He flipped over his first card. "Sky Diver! General Sayfried's skill activates. When I check a grade 3 Spike Brother, I can Superior Call!" The large flying football star appeared next to his General.(11k) "Time for the second check! Now that's what I like to see! Another Sky Diver, so I can Superior call that too!"

"Now it looks like I have too more attacks. I wonder if you can hold up... Sky Diver, attack!"

"No guard. Damage Check!" Sera takes the top card from her deck, flippin git over as it started to glow slightly. "Critical Trigger! I give all effects to Glass Beads Dragon."
