PostSubject: Re: Calamity Trigger - Sin (World: Spira)   Calamity Trigger - Sin (World: Spira) - Page 13 EmptyMon Jun 18, 2012 4:52 am

...I...don't know, but may-

These simple words were suddenly interrupted by a savage flashing of the written text. The piece of raw paper began to let loose a blood-licked red light upon the blackened scribbled words, almost as if warning the cute little girl that something was dangerously wrong. Yet, all seemed fine where she was, being so high up within that beautiful sky. Sadly, that wasn't exactly true back at the temple. In a strange rush of panic and thought, the black text on the note began to fade away before being replaced by something that one could certainly understand no matter the species or ethnicity. A single image with many a colorful crafting and lines that made it stand out, like a quick painting on the parchment. The formed 'image' summed up something quite simple indeed. It was Raven, Takato and Zora fighting a shadowed, unknown enemy at the place they were staying,

Sorry to cut this short, but it seems a ward just went off. You might wanna be careful, there is a good chance of a fight back there soon.

Warning her was good, but telling her like that might have not been the best option,

Maybe you should stay here?

Elsewhere.

Takato yawned as he looked up from his books and food at the one of the many tables within the temple. His amber eyes ran along the walls with interest as the many monks wandered around doing what they usually did. Safe to say, he had no idea what they did. He barely paid attention to TV, let alone an old guy who liked to bow to inanimate objects a lot and single really strange songs. Badly at that. Still, who was he to complain? He had a roof over his head for the moment and a piece of time to relax. Now if only he could figure out why his senses were nagging at him so deeply. Unfortunately, it would take several moments for the magi to actually get what was going on. Someone had just tripped the wards he had planted around the various sections of the temple. Wards that alerted back to him that someone with a great deal of magic had stepped foot in the vicinity.

He only had a second to wonder who.

A scream echoed outside and he looked up, tossing the book to the side as the sound of rapid footsteps could be heard outside from the grounds. His gloved hands snapped up to fix the red coat of his and his short form dashed to the 'eating room' exit with a slight spin, pushing it open to see what all the fuss was. He certainly wasn't expecting what he saw before him. A single monk had been tossed like a rag doll down the large, crawling stairs, blood running down the stone in deep sickening drops. Above it all stood a figure clad within a thick black coat that covered him from head to toe, his body standing at a nigh-ridiculously tall height and a oversized sword firmly clasped with his hand. He had obviously struck the poor man and was making his move towards the main middle entrance of the temple, a place where only those monks and summoners were allowed to go.

He actually had the gall to ignore on watchers, each foot step being a mocking tone.

PostSubject: Re: Calamity Trigger - Sin (World: Spira)   Calamity Trigger - Sin (World: Spira) - Page 13 EmptyMon Jun 18, 2012 5:16 am

A shreik through the air, a rumble of the earth, and a thrown body. All were enough to stir the senses of the snow-haired gunman from within the temple, but Raven was not brought to his feet by the physical attributes of an attack upon the grounds, but the energy that seeped through the walls. It sickened him, the intent it carried, and there was no attempt to hide it. How his sense had failed him until this point was beyond his understanding, but it was not important. Danger had indeed found them, and Raven knew too well the other travellers would be on their way to the source. He would be no exception.

Pressing to the earth with his toes, he took to the halls, taking up his massive sword and placing it on his shoulder as he did so. He manuevered the halls as best he could, still lost in the sanctum from his short time there, but the energy, it called to him. He could smell it, taste it. Appropriate enough, the taste had come from the dining quarters, growing ever so potent the closer he came. With a whip of his hand, he opened the door and entered, catching the same sight of the monk's blood streaking down the wall, and the black-coated figure. His weapon caught Raven's eye first, an exceptionally large blade, similar to his own. He could only raise an eyebrow to the man's height. He was big.

Raven had fought bigger.

"Hey tiny!"

Raven took a relaxed stance, bouncing the blade of his sword on his shoulder once.

"Don't know if you saw the sign or not, but the temple's got a weight limit! Sorry to disappoint, I'm gunna have to ask you to leave!"

He knew it wasn't going to work, but why not give it a shot? Trash talk always made the fights more fun, anyway.

Ima blinked once in confusion. She had absolutely no idea what a 'ward' was, but if there was going to be a fight she definitely had to be there. She couldn't just stay back and do nothing after all! That wouldn't be right.

"Thanks for the warning, Mr. Horcrux, but I can't just stay up here knowing that everyone might get hurt." The child said as she smiled at the parchment. "I'll talk to you later, though, okay? Bye bye!" With that she removed her finger from the paper before putting it in her pocket.

She quickly zoomed down to the temple and her eyes widened at what she saw. There was a man dressed in all black heading towards the temple, and a man bleeding fallen over! She didn't see Zora, but saw that Takato and Raven were already there.

That guy was really very tall...

Ima shook her head to focus and zoomed towards the fallen monk. The monk still seemed to be alive, so she pulled out her gun and hit him with the white and green lasers, before gently using gravity to move him a distance away from the potential battlezone.

With that, she finally addressed the stranger. "Who are you?" She asked, curious and wary.

PostSubject: Re: Calamity Trigger - Sin (World: Spira)   Calamity Trigger - Sin (World: Spira) - Page 13 EmptyMon Jun 18, 2012 6:26 am

The large man turned to look at the fellow warrior behind a casting of darkness, unseen eyes narrowing in a feral greeting as he moved the large sword upwards upon his broad shoulders. He suddenly began to move and his back arched, his head doing the same with a scratchy bark-like grunt that shouldn't have been able to pass human lips. He really was tall, towering over everyone in the vicinity and gazing down upon whoever dared to look at him. This included the brave Raven that had just yelled at this man. Suddenly, it happened. A single arm shifted down and the oversized weapon slammed loudly into the ground, causing the earth to shatter beneath as if a powerful hammer had struck it.

Physical strength alone wasn't enough to cause such damage, was it? This was something that rang through the mind of a certain amber-eyed Magi as he studied the male. The unusual and almost lazy stance this unknown warrior had gave the blonde enough time to take in his appearance more. The weapon itself was covered in a number of wrapped bandages and the grip was sat between the spiked looking grips on the hilt. It didn't look like a sword that he had ever seen before. Mass and form gave shape into a greatsword-like quality that seemed as big as it's wielder in length and more. Unbelievable. How could he even hold it? Yet, that wasn't the only thing that caught his attention. No. The 'sword' had caused a rather long, scarred crater to form with that blow alone,

"Sorry, but I don't leave a job unfinished. Now put away that toothpick of yours..."

His huge sword moved with a snap and the massive mass lashed out, with the man suddenly spinning to strike at Ima. He shouldn't have been able to pull off that movement alone with how much he was carrying and how he was built, but, seemingly, he had. His weapon swung down to the tiny girl and the man didn't even seem to be looking in her direction behind the strange hat of his, treating her like a bug that he was quite merely swatting into gooey goodness. His eyes though, unseen as they were, hadn't left the warrior holding the sword, even as his own weapon howled down upon the poor soul of innocent with sickening glee. The monk that she had just rescued could only watch in horror at the distance she had placed him down, unable to believe his eyes,

"...Before things get violent!"

Takato froze,

"IMA!"

PostSubject: Re: Calamity Trigger - Sin (World: Spira)   Calamity Trigger - Sin (World: Spira) - Page 13 EmptyMon Jun 18, 2012 6:52 am

"Toothpick? Heh, wow, how original." Raven only shrugged. Of course he was worried for Ima, but was he really about to show this giant idiot fear? He didn't move, he kept his sword gripped loosely on his shoulder. His piercing eyes passed between his allies, giving Ima a longer look to assure her she was ok.

"You know, for such a big guy, you're kind of a punk ass." Raven smirked, stretching his shoulder. He yawned for a quick moment, laying his hand on his side, very subtley reaching to the holster where one of his trusty handguns was sitting in wait. "Big for nothin'. You got a whole temple full of warriors trained to take on lumbering beasts like you, and you attack a monk and a little girl." He took aim at the location where he assumed eyes were to be found, never breaking his concentration.

"I'm sure my insults aren't going to get to ya, and that's fine." Raven's eyes narrowed slightly. He took in a breath with his nose, sniffing the air the way a predator tracking his prey would do. He smelled like a wet dog. "What you need to know is that I can put three holes in your head with three different weapons by the time you move to make the strike. The choice is up to you, but if you kill her, I'll have no excuse not to tear your intestines out and feed them back to you."

Energy slowly leaked from Raven's pores, lacing his body in a light shade of black and crimson. The air grew heavy, meeting the large enemy head on, though unable to match-up in force. Raven held only a small level of control over the energy, and exposing his limit at first would be suicide.

"So make your move."

PostSubject: Re: Calamity Trigger - Sin (World: Spira)   Calamity Trigger - Sin (World: Spira) - Page 13 EmptyTue Jun 19, 2012 2:10 am

Ima barely had the time to glance up and widen her eyes before the blade was upon her. There was a short shriek, a cracking sound, the smell of blood, and then silence.

Dead silence.

"So this is a job then?"

What had been the corpse of Ima vanished, as if it had never been there in the first place. The living thing was floating behind the stranger, her childish and deadly gun pointed at the back of his head, in the exact manner that Raven had done with Fate. She glanced at Raven and Takato, unsure if she should pull the trigger, before turning her eyes back to the stranger.

She did not like this man. He made Takato sound scared and Raven seem worried and he had hurt that other person. He did not seem like a very nice man.

"Then who asked you to do it? And you didn't answer my other question."

Ah, but she didn't introduce herself thinking of it. How rude of her.

"My name is Ima Terran. Who are you?"

Calamity Trigger - Sin (World: Spira) - Page 13 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Calamity Trigger - Sin (World: Spira)   Calamity Trigger - Sin (World: Spira) - Page 13 EmptyTue Jun 19, 2012 2:52 am

The large man didn't cease his attack as the blade howled down. This meant that the weapon cut apart the "corpse" and then smashed into the earth, causing the ground to split from the sheer power behind it with a sickening crack. He obviously didn't seem too bothered with the fact the little girl had evaded his blow or that his other opponent was putting out energy that made his hair stand up. Not at all. His grip became tight around the massive hilt of the sword and he let loose a sudden, grim laugh that would have caused any normal child to run around like a chicken with it's head cut off,

"Funny, you think I don't know who you are?"

A pair of cold, white eyes snapped alive from behind the hat before the man arched his broad shoulders, ripping the oversized weapon out from the stone floor with a brutish nature that lacked real grace. It was as if he was swinging a hammer, not a sword. Either way, the words being tossed at him just caused him to shake his covered head, sitting the weapon back upon his shoulder with a swagger that gave show of his true confidence. Oddly enough, the aura being put out by the sword-user at the temple made the bandaged greatsword actually twitch, something that one could only notice if you paid attention to it,

"Make my move? Alright."

His hand snapped up in a sudden burst of movement and the head-gear was tossed off. His appearance was stunning and his eyes focused upon the trio, a fanged grin standing out in the light of the temple. His skin was a pitch blue, scarred by years of combat and possessing almost animal like qualities, including teeth that looked straight out of a shark-mouth, every single one being razor-sharp and pointy. His eyes were an odd circular shape and completely white, his pupil a cold black slit that just seemed never-ending. Bellow each eye were three brutally cut, dark slits on his skin, like markings of pride,

"Oh, it's a job. A fun one."

Safe to say, he was one ugly bastard.

But he wasn't human either.

"I'm Kisame Hoshigaki. Monster of the Hidden Mist."

A single arm stretched out and the massive sword lifted through the air with dripping blood, the maddening grin across his features positively aroused by the thought of more battle. That is when it became apparent. This man stank. He stank of something foul. No matter how far away from him one was, the smell could easily be recognized by anyone to get a paper cut in their lives. It was the scent of blood. Every piece and layer of this man utterly poured with the putrid scent of old, stained crimson liquid that had been ripped out of every enemy that his weapon had torn in two,

"I'm here to kill the summoner. Then eat her. Maybe more."

He shrugged,

"It's been a boring weekend."

Raven whistled as the appearance of this man came into view. The teeth, the skin, the hair, it was all a little.....weird. Raven had to hold back a chuckle at the big revealing, scoffing at the words. The crimson energy slowly slid off of him as he placed his free hand on the flat portion of his blade, keeping his guns where they were. Raven was all for fighting for those he cared about and all that, but he knew a challenge when he saw it. He liked challenges. He stretched out, obviously ignoring the big show of the intruder.

"Kill the Summoner, huh? Well.....ergh......I'm not going to let you do that, bud. Kinda swore an oath to stopping exactly that."

He laughed lightly a few times. The scent of blood overwhelmed his senses, which were more keen than those around him. The animalistic aspect of the demon blood amplified the smell. He could almost see it.

"I'm sure I taste delicious, though."

His brow lowered, his peaceful gray eyes now morphed into a sickening crimson, malicious intent written over them. He swiped his sword once, not needing to smash of sliced anything to show off. That time would be soon. He pointed the tip of the weapon with ease in the direction of the blue-skinned monstrosity, flipping some hair out of his face before giving off that signature grin.

"So why don't you eat me?"

"You look like a fish! Cool!" Said Ima, grinning. She had never seen anyone who looked like that before. There were so many interesting people and things here. But she wrinkled her nose at his scent. "You smell weird though. Bleh."

Then she realized this was not the time and promptly shut up.

He wanted to kill Yuna? She didn't get why anyone would want to hurt her. She was so nice! But then again, she didn't get why anyone would want to hurt anybody. Humans were strange. And very very hard to understand. And to be!

"We're not gonna let you hurt her." Ima told Kisame, agreeing with her friend. "So I guess we're gonna have to stop you." She moved back so that she was out of his range, figuring Raven might want the first shot at him, but kept her gun trained on him nonetheless.

She'd say sorry, but she wasn't.

PostSubject: Re: Calamity Trigger - Sin (World: Spira)   Calamity Trigger - Sin (World: Spira) - Page 13 EmptyTue Jun 19, 2012 6:33 am

Kisame arched his head at the two before grinning widely, slowly walking towards them both with a mocking sway of his pitch-black cloak. His sinister eyes gleamed in the light and his broad shoulders hiked as the massive sword never once twitched in struggle, instead being held in one hand with sheer utter ease. His strength had already been noted to be insane, but the size of the weapon should have at least made him blink. It didn't. At all. His spiked teeth flashed and clenched with drooling glee, the smell of crushed blood washing upwards into his nose with a pleased shudder,

"He said to focus on my target, but, you two seem fun."

Then, it happened. The air became heated and he glared at a certain amber Magi who had been preparing a spell out of sight. Safe to say it was a shocking sight to see Takato suddenly start gasping and clawing at his throat, staring in shock at the blue skinned monster with wide eyes. A heavy sensation lashed out over everyone in the vicinity, making those that were unprepared for it drop to their knees in tears. Killing intent. This feeling was his will to kill. His desire to take life and brutally ruin the innocence of whoever he stepped on.

Takato Rutherford was certainly unprepared for it.

"Now, let me see if you can cut off a limb!"

The massive sword in the hand of the warrior slashed outwards with a movement of his arm, sending it sweeping in such a way that it would strike both Ima and Raven with stone-breaking force, the bandages covering it slowly unraveling with each sent strike. It's mass was covered in sharp, downwards scales. Yes. Scales. They were pointed and covering the battle crafting, made up by hundreds of them. The fact that it actually seemed to grow with each removing layer of bandages made it look even bigger, even more deadly. Oddly enough, the Magi was distracted by something more than the overpowering killing intent.

He was gazing at said weapon in horror.

Raven followed the swipe of the massive weapon, his now burning crimson stare picking up on every detail of the 'blade'. It was a gruesome sight to behold. The scales were splashed with the blood of countless victims, and it seemed to pulsate with the anticipation of yet another meal, and here Raven could not help but admire it. A new weapon he had not witnessed before, it was beautiful. He would hope to make it a part of his collection when this was over, especially based on the energy signature he could feel within. Something was different about this blade. The force in which the weapon was swung would be enough to deliver aforementioned meal with relative ease. It would be a shame that it would go hungry for the time being. A silver streak whipped through the air, crashing into the scaled abomination with astonishing momentum, halting the attack!

Raven, just like Kisame, had lashed out with one hand and countered his attack slash for slash, both warriors cancelling each other out with their incredible physical strength. The force let out from the connecting strikes sent a small shockwave through the air, a factor Raven could not simply ignore. His elbow did twitch slightly, a sign that his strength was not entirely on par with his opponent, but it was enough to stop the slash. Raven looked up to Kisame with an equally enthusiastic grin, ignited by the moment! Finally, someone else who shared his love of the blade and of the battle! The heat of the instance was enough to block out what was happening around him, from Takato's suffering to the overwhelming pressure of the enemy's blood lust.

"You want fun? Fine then!"

He propelled the weapon back with another shove, taking a leap back to avoid an additional counter strike. He swiped both hands out to his sides, leaning in just slightly as if to expose his body for a strike, mocking the enemy.

"Then let's get this party started!"

PostSubject: Re: Calamity Trigger - Sin (World: Spira)   Calamity Trigger - Sin (World: Spira) - Page 13 EmptyTue Jun 19, 2012 7:57 am

Ima was very glad Raven had blocked the attack, because she could not move. It felt as if her body were frozen without ice and her lungs would not work and her heart was too loud and there must have been blood in her throat because it was burning, but it shouldn't be burning because this body was made to be able to withstand her own blood, so why was it burning?

The alien turned and retched and suddenly understood.

What was this feeling that she was getting from Kisame? It was terrifying. Absolutely terrifying. She knew that she was more sensitive to emotions and feelings than most humans seemed to be (What had someone called her once? An empath?) but even with that in mind this feeling was horrifying. She could remember few instances where she felt fear like this.

She dimly realized that her body was shaking and her face was wet and that she was breathing far too quickly. Had she not been floating there was no doubt that her feet would have buckled beneath her. Ima took a few forced deep, slow breaths in an attempt to calm herself. When that didn't work she bit her thumb hard, which seemed to help her focus at least.

The child burdened Kisame with gravity and made her friends lighter, but did nothing else. She literally couldn't do anything else. She knew that she needed to check that Takato was okay, she knew that she needed to help Raven fight Kisame, but until she could calm down she was completely useless.

Completely and utterly useless again.

PostSubject: Re: Calamity Trigger - Sin (World: Spira)   Calamity Trigger - Sin (World: Spira) - Page 13 EmptyWed Jun 20, 2012 4:56 am

"You handle your sword well, but I'm just getting started!"

Kisame backed off and let his wide maddening grin be his answer, sharp teeth glowing with sick glee at the thought of more battle. His fingers became tight around the hilt and he let loose a laugh, swinging the blade with such momentum that the air actually lashed outwards, the earth below cracking slightly from the force. Then, he stared. His eyes locked directly on the little alien girl and the gravity being tied onto him buckled, before crushing him whole. Water fell to the ground and the entire building blocks of his body became nothing but liquid. Even the massive blade had turned into nothing but a puddle on the ground.

"You guys are fun, 30% power might not be enough."

A towering shadow phased alive on the perch of the temple door behind them, another savage laugh seeping over the ears of whoever was in the current vicinity. There he was, yet again. His monstrous features mocked them right back, glimmering with a sense of hunger that pitched on raw cannibalism. Neither of them realized, but the first one they had attacked had been nothing but a Mizu Bunshin. A clone made of water. This clone equaled him at 30% strength and could be quickly made if there was a body of liquid in the area. Which didn't make sense, since there wasn't one. Slowly the massive blade lifted up and pointed directly at Ima,

"But you just made this battle much easier."

His free hand snapped up and a few of the plants in the area suddenly withered away, dying as something was removed from them. Yet, a strange blue glow was seeping from Kisame, seeping from him and 'pulling' towards Ima in an unaffected nature. His cold, wild voice howled and drops of water formed in mid-air, jerking rapidly and spanning out. Finally, something happened. A shape flared alive and grew in a matter of seconds, reaching the build of two fully grown men (if a bit bigger). A large, hazy blue shark made entirely of water shot forward through the air at the three with a sinful call,

"Suiton: Suikōdan no Jutsu!"

Water Release: Water Shark Bullet Technique

Thankfully, a certain Magi seemed to have finally got his head together. A bit. He jumped forward to the rather dazed blue-eyed cutie and spread out his metal hand. A purple glyph formed in mid-air and a 'shell' of light formed over the two, ready to take the impact if Raven couldn't do anything to deter it. His amber eyes flashed and a single pupil gained a sea of blue within, staring directly at the mercenary with sweat dripping down skin. Latin responded to the other unusual language and the spell came full-circle, holding out as best as it could for the future,

"Fatalis Orbis!"

Fated/Deadly Circle

PostSubject: Re: Calamity Trigger - Sin (World: Spira)   Calamity Trigger - Sin (World: Spira) - Page 13 EmptyWed Jun 20, 2012 5:18 am

Raven loved the sound of that. "30% power", that meant there was more! This guy was speaking his language, because Raven had a couple more tricks up his sleeve. He ddn't, however, expect the form to just burst into a puddle. A clone, a distraction. He had monitored their moves, saw how they did their battle, and in a few words, he proceeded with an act Raven had not seen for many years, he absorbed life force from the world around him. Raven could feel it, and it made his skin crawled. He loved it!

The blue-skinned man had then unleashed his shark-shaped water blast at his friends. Takato was ready to take to the attack in order to protect Ima, but come on, that would just take all of the fun out of it! Kisame had been showing off, it was time for Raven to return to favor!

"That's what I'm talkin' about!"

He used the sheer force in his legs and the lightened gravity given to him by the small girl to launched himself through the air and infront of the two. He spiked his sword into the ground, using it to spin and land infront of the two, letting go of the hilt and taking a fighting stance.

"Check this out, worked up something new!"

The black and red energy that he had let flow lightly as an attempt of nothing more but intimidation had come alive again, this time in the forms of four fireballs wrapping around both of his hands and his feet. He narrowed his eyes, taking aim at the nose of the water shark, and pulling back his right fist. He tightened his muscles and threw a wild punch into the water, his arm buckling slightly.

"FURIOUS FANDANGO!"

The water burst into small drop, each one dissolving into the air due to the sheer heat let off by the strike. The steam cleared out, Raven's grin seen wide on his face. The flames had left his right hand, but remained on the unused limbs. His knuckles bled, a patch of skin missing from the back of his hand his reward for his efforts. He laughed at the injur, holding it up so his opponent could see. It was like it just faded away. Smoke passed over the wound, literally burning it away and replacing it with new flesh and blood. He wiped the remaining blood on his pants, taking up the sword with his right hand.

"Ima, Takato, can you fight?"

He looked over his shoulder to his friends. He knew they were traumatized by the enemy, and he needed them to be well if they were going to be able to help. If not, his job would become protector and attacker.

Ima bit down on her thumb harder, to the point where it was a very good thing that she could heal quickly, allowing her to focus better still. She quickly buried all of the negative feelings into the back of her mind again, hoping that they would stay well away until this fight was over at least. After a few more deep breaths to make sure she was calm enough, Ima nodded at Raven. "I can fight!" The child told him.

So the gravity helped Kisame? In what way? She had no idea, but didn't want to lift it off of him in case he were lying. She couldn't really tell. If he was telling the truth, though, she could always easily do it later. Changing gravity was about as easy to her as walking to most.

The child floated high up so that Takato and Raven wouldn't need to protect her anymore, and quickly shot at the enemy with the red laser a few times. Unless it was a fake water person again.

It was kind of funny, she thought, how the fish-man used water to fight. And fitting.

PostSubject: Re: Calamity Trigger - Sin (World: Spira)   Calamity Trigger - Sin (World: Spira) - Page 13 EmptyMon Sep 10, 2012 8:56 pm

"You guys are pretty tricky," laughed Kisame, a blue skinned hand tightly clenching around the hilt of the massive sword. His towering body twitched and the weapon whipped up, just as the blasts from the alien girl nearly impacted against him. A blue glow shimmered around the defending tool and her attacks faded into nothing, not even leaving a mark on the cloth it was wrapped within. Oddly, the shook harshly as the same blue glow dimmed and vanished. The large "man" appeared strangely annoyed and disgusted, glancing where her shots had struck. Finally his head arched arrogantly and he focused his twisted attention back on the readying trio staring his way (yet moreso on the small girl). "That was a bad meal for Samehada. I don't know what sort of crap your little gun uses, but you've just gone and pissed him off."

He grunted and walked towards them with the same unusually slow pace from before. It was hard to tell if it was because the gravity ingratiated was actually wearing him down, or because he wanted to intimidate them. Suddenly he raised his shoulders and gripped the huge sword, lashing it through the air with such strength behind it that the wind exploded around him and snapped out a small shockwave along the floor. The sturdy weapon hit the ground hard a few steps away from them and cracks formed stretching all the way to their feet. In an absurd and rather strange motion, blue liquid splashed up from the small partings in the earth all while the beastly looking man grinned with multiple sharp teeth. Before anyone could respond, a burst of water exploded from two separate cracks as his free hand raised in an odd sign.

"Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu!"

Water Clone Technique

Strands of water cluttered together in mid-air, hovering like magic and melding into a larger blob. It expanded in a matter of seconds and rapidly gained features that matched those of their attacker. Two perfectly copied and solid clones stood next to the real one in the exact same stance, eyes dead forward at the onwatchers. Grim and cocky laughter barked out from the newly created trio, hissing through the air with bloodlust. "Like these odds? I'm glad." Then, they attacked. Every single "Kisame" launched at them with a pulled back weapon each, striking out with the same speed that the original had. Whichever of the three was the original could be hard to say with the speed and movement they used in the following offensive strategy. One jumped up and slammed down the sword like a hammer at Raven. Another shifted past the males and zoomed at Ima, swiping at her gun with a glint in his eyes. The final swiped up their weapon and made to shred Takato cleanly in half, dodging around like the others.

Ima made a confused face. She didn't know what that word that Kisame used to describe his sword was, but from the tone in his voice said that it probably wasn't a good thing. In fact, it was probably a very very bad thing. She was about to apologize, when suddenly the one Kisame turned into three, one coming after her. The child's eyes widened. She was so high up! Was he a flying fish? She had heard of those.

The alien quickly zoomed backwards, finding it odd that the fish man had aimed for her gun and not her body, or even the hand that was holding the weapon. Had her attack really made him and Samehada so...whatever it was? Why did humans have so many words that she didn't know?

She then fired a few more shots at her own opponent, glancing towards Takato and Raven, wondering if she should go to help them.

Raven watched the Kisame fly through the air at him and couldn't help but grin as the scale-covered sword he held came flailing down at him. It was like he could see the energy flaking off of the weapon. It was something to see, granted an energy-absorbing weapon would shut down a good portion of his advanced arsenal. Nevertheless, just finding someone in this world that spoke the same language as him was enough to make his blood boil with excitement, and he was going to enjoy every second of this fight he could without forgetting what was at stake! He shifted his body, widening his stance and standing firm. With a twist of his mid section to the left, Raven turned his sword outward and struck up with an arching, heavy slice! A crimson and black streak hazed through the air as it sailed, ceasing as the edge of the sword crashed in between the scales of Samehada!

The force of both blows erupted outwards in a radial blast, compressing the air before blasting it outwards, hints of red found in the range! the ground cracked and buckled beneath Raven, just as his knees did slightly. The small indention where his feet stood soon became well-sized craters, but the steadfast frame of Raven could handle the stress. Raven's attack moved Kisame's strike just out of range of his body, but more importantly it had set up an opening for Raven to respond! He body moved as fluid as the flowing stream, his sword guiding Samehada to the ground and the flaming left fist of Raven flying in a half-circle, Raven pivoting on his heel to send a spinning back fist in the direction of Kisame's cheek!

"Comin' Atcha!"

The strike threatened explosive properties, just as the one he landed before had. In this situation he couldn't fight without holding back just a little, but if he wanted to beat something as strong as this large swordsman, he'd need the best strikes he could find.

PostSubject: Re: Calamity Trigger - Sin (World: Spira)   Calamity Trigger - Sin (World: Spira) - Page 13 EmptyWed Dec 12, 2012 5:26 am

"I'm through playing with you!"

Ima only had a few second to react against that three-toned shout before the Kisame attacking her snarled and twirled his sword with a lashing vacuum of raw wind. The howling, invisible strike of air caused by sheer force alone collided with the shots fired from the gun and did something rather appalling indeed. It ate them. Of course, such a thing wasn't the end of it. His jumping form reached matching height with the floating girl and his body whipped up a single hand towards her, with a single finger glowing an unusual light that was almost blinding to the staring eye. On said finger shone a strange, cold ring that held itself outstretched to the girl as the other hand wielded the massive weapon and continued to savagely knock away her attempts to kill him. Or at the very least cease his actions.

Safe to say, she had officially pissed him off.

The poor alien girl no doubt didn't expect the image that popped into her mind next. Not created by her own thoughts and will.

..A single eye stares back. Colossal in size and bleeding with purple blood..... Unnatural. Not of this world. Alien. Monstrous and horrific...Swirls. Pinwheels. The cry of species silenced with one mighty roar....Pain...pain...pain..pain...painpainPAIN..PAINPAINPAIN..

A huge blade lashed at her throat a breath later.

Elsewhere, Raven had his own troubles to deal with. The first clashing match up of weapons didn't seem to matter much to the overwhelming swordsman and his smile spoke volumes at it. If anything, he looked like he was having fun. His body reacted like a inhuman killing machine no matter what his opponent did. However, there was a glint in his eye. A glint positively seeping of madness. Genius. Which perhaps disturbed or even excited the gunman looking to end this warrior with his fist. Freakishly, the blue skinned beast made no move to even try to dodge the blow. His smile just grew wider and the respect seeping from his touched words grew another notch. Moments later, curled fingers sank into water and mass surged forward with spread teeth looking to bite down on the attacking limb.

"Suiton: Suikōdan no Jutsu."

The clone shattered by the blow exploded into water and swept up into the call of the technique, only to be replaced by a rather odd sight. A living, breathing shark about twice the size of normal one burst forth from the liquid before being covered in a thick layer of translucent blue light into the literal shape of another shark around it. Like a barrier and a simple extension of build. Unfortunately, it was also looking to chomp down onto the white haired man in the close proximity and towered over him with a feral grin. One could only wonder where the real Kisame was then. Was it the one tormenting the young girl? Perhaps. Perhaps not.

Oh wait.

Takato Rutherford hit the ground instantly. Struggling and grunting in pain.

"Eight points."

Kisame swung his weapon over his shoulder. A red "paint" on the surface of it.

It wasn't there before.

"Larynx, spine, lungs, liver, jugular, subclavian artery, kidneys, heart. Guess which one I picked. Time is running out. Tick-tock."

PostSubject: Re: Calamity Trigger - Sin (World: Spira)   Calamity Trigger - Sin (World: Spira) - Page 13 EmptyTue Jan 08, 2013 9:49 pm

The alien felt everything freeze at the sight of her people being destroyed. Her 'blood', her heart, her mind, the air in her lungs, time, all of it seemed to stop. But almost immediately it all came back at double speed. It was a lie. That could not be her people. Fate had not been telling the truth. He'd only been saying that to upset them. Her people were fine. Her people weren't dying. Her people weren't dead. It was a lie. It was a lie. It was a lie!

It was only the fact that she flinched back from the false sight at the last second that kept the child from being completely decapitated.

Ima dropped like a stone, hitting the ground with a sickening thud. She would have screamed for the pain if she could. As it was she could only close her eyes and grit her teeth and hold her shaky hands above her throat, wanting to grasp it as if that would stop the pain, but there not being enough throat left to hold. Black ooze, her 'blood', poured from the wound, dissolving the ground below as if it were acid.

It hurt so much. She could feel her throat healing, as quickly as it was able to with the energy she had left, but Ima wasn't sure it was quick enough. If Kisame came down thinking he had to finish the job she'd be done for. She couldn't move.

She was in pain. She was cold. She was scared. And Ima had never wanted to go home more.

Her eyes burned then felt wet and the child wondered if this would be the last time she'd ever malfunction.

"....Oh sweet god...."

The entire fight this fight...no...this bloody massacre of blood and spells and weapons was happening in the temple, all but turning it into a flood of crimson liquid and a rubble of a building, Zora has stayed hidden to the best of her ability. What else was she suppose to do? Despite having a demonic arm that took on many monsters five times her size and powerful enough to fight against mages, demons, and your more than average humans, she's still human. With her arm threatening to devour her very being after overuse of overuse, trying to use it against this....demon....a demon who was treating the others like simple toys for his amusement with a toss of his finger was quite impossible.

Zora HAS considered joining in the fray, but from the mass destruction that's been happening and how her own friends were having more than enough trouble with this, what could she do? Clenching her teeth and fist, she picks up a piece of rubble and runs inside, tossing it at Kisame. "Leave them alone, you fish face!" she shouts angerly, glaring as she held her ground. Without her arm, she was just a human like everyone else in Kilika Island...no special powers like Takuro's magic or Ima's alien abilities...and certainly no arsonal of weapons like Raven. She was scared...terrified...a very big chance she'll die before she could even put up a fight.....

...But nothing was more hateful than abandoning her companions for her own safety.

Raven blinked slowly once as the aquatic killing machine materialized and shot for his body. Adrenaline kicked up in the heat of battle, and while the smirk once called his lips home, reality had done a fine job at wiping it away. He heard the gurgling of ebony blood leaking from the throat of the small child, his eyes catching the horror soon after. He saw the red splatter across the scales of Samaheda, and the magi on the ground. He even saw the rubble fly through the air, and heard the girl he had always second guessed show an act of bravery he had never seen. The severity of the situation had shown it's ugly head.

This was no longer a game.

This was no longer fun.

This....

The shark smashed into Raven with extreme force, tearing him in various locations and pressing his body into the floor, which submitted to the power of the attack and caved in, burying Raven in a shallow, watery grave. The grim fact that his eyes may have been bigger than his stomach, metaphorically speaking, even more painful than the leaking wounds.

Ima...

That bastard...

Raven too...!?

...Zora...

"Ha! What can you two do? Your little friend is currently suffering from a deathly 'sore' throat and that other one is a bit preoccupied becoming food for the sharks."

Takato grunted as his hazy eyes stared at their towering foe, a single gloved hand lifting up in a effort to struggle. That blow hurt worse than it looked (and it looked pretty damn bad). The sword had sheared through his shoulder and tore into bone like butter, with the only saving grace being his metal arm that took the full-brunt of whatever lethal edge was there. He could barely stand up. The force behind the attack had caved him into the floor and made his legs creak with pain. Thankfully, he didn't need to stand with what he was going to attempt. His amber eyes narrowed and filled rapidly with the ocean color of blue purity, a depressed self-pitying chuckle echoing up through his throat. Raven was stronger than him and faster too, with a unyielding will to boot. Ima was far more powerful the he ever was and a mind full of kindness. Zora had so much more bravery in her heart and fought on even now.

He...killed them....?

His heart throbbed in pain.

"....Magic exists to serve man, and never to rule over him..."

Kisame blinked and turned with his sword over his shoulder. Huh. He hadn't expected for the wimpy spell-caster to get up after that. The hunter was strong, but fell quickly to a sequenced attack and was obviously caught off guard by the aggressive fight against a mere clone. The little girl had been dangerously annoying to deal with and her gun pissed off Samehada to no end, so he got her out of the way after getting sick of toying around with her. Finally, the new woman striding up and launching rocks at him actually caused him to laugh with that scratchy blood-tasting echo and slam his weapon to the floor in a show of strength. Those thrown objects were snuffed out by a shock-wave of force and sent wind at the demon-arm wielding girl in an attempt to silence her stupid attempts,

Takato said nothing. Seconds later his hand was set on the arm of the blueskinned beast. Perhaps it was confidence or just swaggering smugness, yet the shinobi had never once moved away from the downed blonde throughout his speech and sickening taunts. Treating him like a prize of the hunt that he had defeated with a mere flick of the wrist. Unfortunately for the fishy-bastard, it was about to be his undoing. Eyes went wide and an electrical discharge exploded forth. It was almost comical to watch what came next. Kisame was tossed violently through the air and smashed cleanly into the ground quite some ways from where he originally had been. As if shot straight from a cannon. Smoke and unclean air trailed upwards from the newest wreckage, leaving a tearful mage rubbing blood from his mouth,

"....I think I'll make an exception with you."

Lightning boomed above and rain began to fall, a beckoning for round two.

Kisame just grinned at the duo.

Ima hated this.

She hated being useless. She wanted to get up, to help her friends. To show her friends that she was alive. To stop Kisame from hurting the people she cared about. But she couldn't. She was in too much pain to move, was too weak, and her throat was taking too long to heal. She hated this.

Why was she always useless? To herself, to her friends...even to her people. Deep down she knew her entire mission was useless. But she couldn't bring herself to not try. No matter what the consequences would be. But was there a point to trying now? Were her people really gone?

She hoped with all her heart that it was a lie.

She couldn't believe it....after having his bloodied body battered and tired, Takato was still going?! IT was insane as Zora coudl only watch in shock and fear. seeing Raven and Ima soaking in their own blood.

Ima....

Her eyes flew wide as she realized the state of the poor Alien girl, dashing over to her as she had to hold back a gasp of pure horror. Her neck...it was healing, but there was a possibility that she could die before it was healed. Could her kind really die from lack of blood like Humans? "There's no time for me to think about that!" she hisses, shaking her head as she saw Ima's gun sitting next to her. Quickly grabbing it, she starts to mess with it multiple amount of times, trying to figure out how Ima would use it to heal their wounds...maybe Zora could use it to heal her and Raven at least.

"Come on, work...Work!!!" She points it away and shoots it to test it out to find teh right color beam, not wanting to kill her off by accident. Eventually, she got to the familiar white glow as she prays and shoots the ray at Ima. "Don't die...Don't you two fucking die on me!!!"
