Ima Terran - A small girl he met in Fiore, a small girl he has grown quite fond of. He notes her odd powers and abilities, yet welcomes her with open arms. He does not know much about her past, but his time with her has awoken a protective instinct within him that will put his very life on the line to help her. His heart aches in the manner of a older brother or father for this small child, his amber eyes always showing a warning for anyone who would dare harm her.

Zora - He met this girl in a rather odd manner, but a mistake nonetheless. His stubborn attitude and will to fight caused problems at the start, but he has since then warmed up to this slightly cold girl. Yet, his very nature is quite intrigued about her, along with the strange demonic arm she holds. He is quite annoyed how she refers to his height though, barely holding himself back from zapping her with magic.

Personality:
Takato Rutherford is an honest Magi from England, decidedly stubborn and strong-willed. He is largely hostile towards those who who give up on life, simply refusing to keep calm when confronted with such people. He has a reputation for being a wanderer, an adventurer looking to discover more. He had quite a few faults, including being only too happy to snap at delusions regarding god, reality, or their own self-importance. He is quite a big fan of human evolution, and he tends to despise anything that halts that. Yet, he has displayed a calm and mature nature that reveals itself when needed.

He has a great selflessness, a single unflinching loyalty, and a great compassion for people he gets close to. He hates the suffering of others and becomes sympathetic upon sensing true pain, doing all he can to put an end to it. Though his nature forces him to look at all sides of pain before making a point to do anything about it. He also stresses the necessity of people taking responsibility for their own actions, but will bail certain people out when it comes to that. He is extremely protective of his friends, and loved ones, always willing to repay his debts.

He has a rather odd fear of cats, and is quite sensitive about his height, even going as far as to rant and rave when people make a remark. Currently, he stands at 155cm (5'1) at age seventeen, which is a lot shorter than most.

Hand-to-Hand Combatant - He is one of the few people in the world that put his life and battle style outside of fist fighting, allowing him to quickly climb the ranks of magic. Thus he is no martial artist but he does have a minimal amount of brawling skill. His metal arm allows a certain degree of physical strength in that arm, but his main focus is magic, leaving him lacking.

Western Mage - Takato is mage of the English sort, those who use latin, pacts, and other such things for magical power. He has trained to be a mage most of his entire life, but has never been very good at it. It is said that he has an amazing amount of luck and hidden potential waiting to be unleashed, but for now he's just seemingly barely better than the average Mage.

History:

Takato spent seven years of his life at a Magical Academy within England, a country he was born and raised in. He graduated and barely passed the final test, becoming a Magister Magi on his birthday. Since earning that rank, he has been travelling the world in hopes of gaining more knowledge and finding a certain object which will help him in his secret quest.

Not much else is known about the Rutherford, other than that he is interested in all forms of spell casting, but focuses on Western and Sealing Magic. Currently Takato is ranked as a "C"-Class Magi, meaning that he could take on an platoon of armed solders and win without too much trouble.

Items in Possession:

Neko-Ken (Cat Fist): This state manifests by fighting like an unrestrained wild animal, using his power more efficiently, as well as the ability to attack his surroundings with air pressure swipes powerful enough to shred trees, floorboards or water blasts. When in this mode, Takato is, in essence, a cat.

The training technique described the trainee being covered in fish sausage and thrown into a pit of starving cats, but that only made him afraid of them. Only then did Takato's father read the final page of the training book, which stated that it was "...just another technique that would only be used by a total idiot. Anyone who would teach it should have his head examined"

Takato fears cats to this very day, and he had even lost his arm within the pit, having it replaced by an odd and seemingly powerful machine like one.

The traditional purpose of the Pactio system is to give the Magister a kind of support during battle. Normally, the Ministra's duty is to protect the Magister with physical abilities and his/her artifact, while the Magister is given time and space to cast offensive and defensive spells. One might compare the Ministra like infantry, while the Magister is like the long-range artillery.

The "pactio" enables the magician casting the spell, the Magister, to transfer some of his/her magic power to the other person involved in the "pactio", the Ministra, improving the Ministra's natural capabilities, by an average of ten times their normal capacity, according to Chamo. Another advantage included in having a "pactio" is the ability for the Ministra to summon a "magic artifact". Each magic artifact reflects the Ministra summoning it, and as such, the vast majority of magic artifacts will be quite different.

Alyssia Yokuto (Human Form):

Apperance: Alyissia normally looks like a simple fox child that speaks in a rather deep voice. When the Pactio card is activated, she assumes her true form of a young red-haired girl that can wield a rather large amount of raw power.

Effect: The fox girl transforms into her humanoid state and fights along side him with an amazing amount of speed and strength. She has the ability of using magic in a rather destructive way. Her artifact summons an odd sword, which can connect to Takato's arm, or be swung like a normal blade.

Quetzalcoatl, Guardian Force:
Quetzalcoatl is a Lightning-based summon, appearing as winged creature of some sort. It is one of the few creatures on the planet to have a full grasp over Lightning, along with a minor section of uncontrolled Wind. It grants its owner the same abilities in a more lesser version, also allowing the user to become immune against any sort of Lightning based attack.

This also makes the user weak against Water, and thus it can harm him at a much greater level. It is recommended the owner does not swim too much with Quetzalcoatl junctioned. It seems the junction of Quetzalcoatl has apperance based effects on Takato too, changing his eye colour to a piercing ocean blue, along with giving him a almost static like aura when he activates any sort of spell.

Magical Nature, Western Magi (SEALED): Takato has always been known to be a British Mage and a general practitioner of the magical arts. However since the "Dive into the Heart" transition he has since lost most of his magical power and knowledge. He knows a number of things still of the mystical realm; but can no longer dabble in the many arts. Supposedly from what he could guess his "Magical Core" has been modified in a way that has left it lifeless, but not completely gone. Usually removing a "Magical Core" from a Magi or creature would cause death or chaotic results of a fashion. Thankfully it appears that the blonde has not expressed such problems beyond simply being at a loss of what to do without his powers. Whoever is manipulating the events of Kingdom Hearts left him with at least three single spells of his choice. One can only wonder if that will be enough.

Magical Arm - False Limb: Known to be the focus of where most of his magic comes from. He has explained a number of times to people how he happened to lose his arm - but has yet to begin on where he acquired such a tool. Usually this arm would be used as other Magi would use a Wand or Staff. Along with being a decent replacement for his loss limb. Since his arrival to "Dive to the Heart" this limb has lost much of it's power and now serves as a hunk of metal in the form of an arm. Takato can still use it as just that; an arm, but it doesn't have much use currently. Interestingly enough he has shown that the use of this limb allows him to apply more physical strength than his human body could hope to have. This has only recently been revealed; yet one can believe that is do to the fact he has had no real use to do such a thing thanks to his magic, until now. Intriguingly he has demonstrated that being able to stop of a blow from a being many times his size (20ft vs his 5ft), even with a struggle, gives him a estimated ability to grapple with around approximately 2 and 1/2 tons of weight with his false arm. Well beyond his own real strength.

-Hand of the Tempest:
Devastate the enemy with surging magic power and make your enemy explode with the full force of your own core. Removing the magic from a mage is like removing the heart from a human. Bad things can happen. Fortunately these bad things are aimed at the heartless. Not much is currently known about this strange eye on his metal palm that appears during combat; nor how this came to be his weapon. Recently Takato has found that this "eye" can replace itself with that of a full-fledged battlaxe seemingly strong enough to stop heavy blows without a problem. How this comes to be is still a mystery; however one could only think that it stems from the same weapon motif that had spawned in the "Dive to the Heart" and therefore has reacted to his will of needing something a little stronger for that moment.

-Axe of the Tempest, The Separator of the Heart:
One would instantly imagine that the transformation into this would allow it to turn into other weapons. It cannot. This is simply the physical creation of his will and weapon made form. Not much else is known at this moment other than Takato can only wield it with his metal arm. Reasons for this come down to the fact that his false limb grants him a deal of superhuman strength; while the rest of his body is more or less that of a normal human. The metal that it is made of appears unbreaking to even that of something of considerably more size smashing into it. There are key features about this weapon that stand out however. For one he can almost instinctively dismiss it into nothingness and then reform it whenever he desires. Secondly, the Magi knows that the only reasons he has acquired this "Axe" and the previous "Eyes" is because of the loss of most of his magical powers.
