Ima giggled a bit as she continued to skip along. She was having fun here. She had just finished talking to someone (who was initially worried why she was not in her room but eventually they ended up having a very fun talk), and before that she had been playing with one of the computers (which had eventually asked her to stop 'hacking' it or something, and gave her a game to play on it instead).

So overall Ima was having a lot of fun.

The child eventually figured that she should probably go to the room that she and Raven were given. Even though she couldn't sleep, she knew how to fake it, and conserving her energy would probably be a good idea until there was sunlight.

...The only problem was that Ima only knew how to count to 10. This could take a while.

Ima just kept skipping.

PostSubject: Re: Fall into the Star Ocean (World: SO3/4)   Fall into the Star Ocean (World: SO3/4) - Page 2 EmptyTue Jun 28, 2011 3:31 am

"I'm not going to let this continue...!" snapped a certain Magi as he held up his hand, fire forming around him with a shudder of white light. A blue haired girl backed up against a stone washed wall, a metal fist clenching with a flash of an odd symbol over the steel. "Give me back what was mine, you damn fake. Pyre Havoc!" It was like a nightmare, blood and skin splashing over steel fingers as a scream echoed through hollow walls. Amber eyes gazed into a hazy green stare, a single fist lodged within a newly formed hole that oozed red liquid. It was chaos, a life being snuffed out in a painful instant. A single, chilling voice echoed through the world, a cold wind flashing over the universe

Feather over the battlefield, unto me thy power yield...

Amber eyes snapped open.

Takato jerked up in a flash, a cold sweat washing over him. His metal arm snapped up and his eyes shot to it, his thrashing hand twitching wildly. That was one hell of a nightmare. Did he literally just dream of killing someone? He felt sick, his skin pale as he sat up and ran a hand through his blond hair, never speaking a word. What kind of attack was 'Pyre Havoc' and why the hell would he even use it on beautiful innocent girl like that? He truly didn't know. He didn't even want to know. Finally, after a few moments of him shaking off the taste of terror, he pushed himself up and off of the bed, fully standing up. It certainly didn't take long for reality to kick him in the head, an alarm sounding.

"This is an update for all refugees. We now know the recent raid on the resort planet Hyda was a surprise attack by Vendeen." spoke a voice through the entire facility over an intercom. Takato blinked and stood silent, grabbing the coat he had thrown on the floor. Vendeen? Were they those guys who had shot at him with those advanced weaponry? Looks like he was going to get his answer, the voice speaking once more. "Remote Station #7 mounted an attempt to defend Hyda IV, but it was thwarted by a tactical Vendeeni strike. Currently, the Pangalactic Administration is scrambling ships from surrounding regions, but Vendeeni forces still have control of this sector. We request that all civilians begin boarding rescue shuttles for immediate evacuation to Remote Station #6. Please do not panic. Refer to the nearest console or attendant for further instructions."

Takato frowned. They had to go already? How long had they been sleeping? He looked over his shoulder at the dosing girl and walking over to her bed, a hand coming out to shake her shoulder gently. "Zora, you awake? We've got to go.." He didn't say anything more, things still very much on his mind. He slipped his gloves back on and silently threw his red coat over his black suit, his lips splitting in a soft sigh. He had almost thought this wacky adventure to be a dream, and he had only gotten so far into his research while everyone was sleeping to find out a few things. That aside, he knew they didn't have time to screw around, his footsteps echoing as he walked out the door and into the hall.

Later...

It didn't take long to be directed into one last transport, the Magi now taking the fresh sight.

It was quite impressive, something straight out of a sci-fy film. They had come to land inside a battleship, or something of the sort. There were many levels within the ship, the main being the observation deck that many of the fleeing people stood within watching a monitor. Before Takato could exit the transporter room, he was greeted by a man that seemed to be welcoming everything. "Welcome to the Federation transport ship GFSS-12372 Helre. You must have been through a lot. We will soon be departing for Remote Station #6. The observation bay is located directly through the corridor leading out of this room. Please wait there until we reach our destination. Gravitic warp will get us there shortly."

Well, that was blunt.

"Guys, you just missed what was on the monitor.." said a sudden voice. It was Fayt, waiting with a rather fearful Sophia. "It’s far worse than I thougt-" Before he could continue however, he was interrupted by a certain announcer, this time a male. "We are about to enter gravitic warp to escape the battle zone. I repeat: We are about to enter gravitic warp to escape the battle zone. All evacuees prepare for warp turbulence." Battle? Okay, now the Magi was even more confused. They were in freakin space? Yet, it seemed normal to everyone around them, so he made sure not to show his shock and awe. He arched his head and narrowed his eyes,

"Fayt, where are we?"

The blue haired boy looked a bit tired himself, flashing a brief frown at the group before he answered the question with a blow of his lips. "A Federation transport ship. The Vendeeni doesn't seem to want to leave us alone, but the gravity warp should get us to safety before we get pulled into all. Looks like we escaped by the skin of our teeth.." The female brunette flinched at that, Fayt taking a glance at her with understanding. "A-Ah, sorry Sophia. I guess we should go look around, it's not like we will have anything better to do with the ship in warp. Hey, how about a game in the sim nearby..?"

Sophia just glared at him.

Thankfully, he wasn't asking her. He wasn't that stupid.

Ima was still bursting in place with curiosity, figuratively and luckily not literally. She was bouncing in place as she listened to everyone talk, looking every which way and trying to take in everything she could with her eyes alone. Again, she still knew she should be more concerned, but she just couldn't help it.

"What's a sim?" The girl couldn't help but ask, as she looked at Fayt with her big blue eyes. "And what kind of game? I like games."

Argh........

A single set of eyelids opened at the announcement blasting over the intercom. Raven barely had time to sleep, but the darkness around him was enough to give him peace and the rejuvinate his power. He lifted his bent leg, allowing it to sling down in an arch, rocking back and forth for a few moments before sitting up and rising off of the bed. Black leather flew in a circle, slapping down into place over his muscular frame, snapping the harness in place.

The neck of the crimson beast rolled, muscles tensing and releasing. He looked out into the shadow covered room, eyes beginning to burn a bright red, seeing through the shade like the purest of water.

Wakey wakey

Gloved hands slid into pockets, a door opened, and the hunter began his trip to the designated area. He just oh so loved being herded like a sheep to evacuation points. Over and over on his way there he thought about things he could have been doing instead of being here, but fate is something he couldn't escape. And it all started when a monster appeared overhead.

-Time Passes-

Raven stood back as he watched Takato converse with those weird looking two from before. He didn't get how they knew his companions and he really didn't care to be honest. The fun had been sapped out of this trip. That is, until the mystery frontier was brought up.

Space, that's a new one.....

Raven let his own thoughts take over as he waited to move on. He reached into his coat, removing from it the glistening rose in which he always had by his side. A sign fo beauty, a sign of love. A sign of hope within chaos. He had no idea what was to be expected, but at this point all he could do was move forward.

~Federation ship...gravitic warp...~ Zora stood there in deep thought, trying to make sense of the information that she knew so far. ~Definetely out of a sci-fi movie....~

"That guy said there was an observation deck, right?" She suddenly said to the group. "I'm gonna head down there for a little bit. Better than waitig for something bad to happen, right?" With that said and done, she walked down the stairs. When she looked out the glass, her eyes widen in fascination. Zora picked up her pace and put her hands on the glass as she saw the millions...no...billions of stars. She could also see the giant red ship, and boy was it giant. After a few moments, she sat down on the seats behind her, letting out a small sigh.

PostSubject: Re: Fall into the Star Ocean (World: SO3/4)   Fall into the Star Ocean (World: SO3/4) - Page 2 EmptyTue Jun 28, 2011 4:44 am

Later...

It certainly didn't take long for shit to hit the fan. Takato had just exited the Battle Simulator with Fayt and Ima, a chuckle echoing over his lips. It had been fun, fighting monsters with the two under a created character name. He had been an Alchemist that used a staff, named Edward Elric. Fun, but the blue-haired boy had a decent saved character that had easily surpassed what he himself had used, Adonis Klein. He forgot what the small girl had been, but it took some time explaining that it was merely a game, and not to shoot the walls with her over-powered gun. He just hoped she had fun, it helped keep her out of the way of the people chatting in the halls and the decks, words that would probably confuse and worry her. He didn't want that to happen.

Huh?

"This is your Captain speaking. Our ship is currently under attack by a Vendeeni battleship. Our gravitic warp engine has already been disabled, which means escape is not an option. All power has been diverted to our shields to buy us some time, but I wanted you all to know: our chances are slim. I had hoped to transport you all the way to Remote Station #6, but it seems that is now beyond my power. All evacuees are requested to proceed to the ship’s escape pods. Please remain calm and follow the instructions of the attendant nearest you as you board your pod."

Oh. Shit.

"Good luck to you all.."

A bright light suddenly slammed into the star-lit window on the wall ahead, shaking the entire ship with raw ease. Fayt looked worried, glancing at the looming beast in the distance of space as he clenched his fists with his green-eyes narrowing. A direct hit? That was a Vendeeni battleship!? The rescue frigate’s shields were no match for the likes of that! He growled and glanced at the two, his eyes glancing with hints of unease to Ima. He couldn't help but feel worried for the child, unknowing of her true potential. "You guys head to the escape pods, I'm going to grab Sophia! Quickly, follow the lights on the floor!"

Takato flinched and never even chanced it, grabbing the hand of the small girl before looking into her innocent blue eyes. "Ima, stay with me, got it?" With that said, he began to move. Crowds of people dashed through the halls, but the grim-faced Magi seemed uncaring, shoving those who got in their way aside with his metal arm. It didn't take him long to drag Ima and himself one level up, finding the hanger bay. He noticed a guard in the back waving his arms, pointing to the machines hooked up to ladders. The Magi looked at the hole leading into one of the small pods before grunting, pulling the girl into a hug before diving inside with her in his grasp.

He hoped the others would get out okay.

Now, how did this damn thing work? They landed on a seat that pushed them towards a large computer, Takato inching his arms around the small girl to quickly work with it. He had no idea how it worked, but his eyes did catch a button that was labeled "Ejection Activation." His hand lashed out, slamming the button before the pod grew darker and a computerized voice spoke to them. Activation complete… Ejection in 10 seconds.

Did..they even have that time!?

"Of fucking course..." Zora muttered under her breath before she ran up from the observation deck. Seeing as how nobody was in this part of the ship anymore, she let out a string of curses as she ran out. Just as she ran out, she spotted a few people running past a door to which she quickly followed them up a flight of stairs. She then spies a guard waving at her and dashed over to him. After a quick explanation, she went inside the room before heading down into the escape pod.

"Now then....how the hell do I get out with this thing...?"

Ima did have a blast in the Battle Sim, after learning that she actually wasn't supposed to blast things. That had been confusing. But when she had finally figured it out, it was a lot of fun, and she couldn't stop giggling and laughing the entire time. She had ended up just pushing random buttons when she had been choosing her character, and had ended up as a 'Misuzu Kamio'.

Now though, she was in an escape pod, worried and confused. What was happening? Were they going to be okay? What about the others? She didn't know the answers to any of these, and it scared her.

But the child remembered her promise and put on a brave face as she waited silently for the 10 seconds to pass.

"Party time."

Raven had been running since the announcement was made, taking some time to help a few stragglers before charging to the escape pods. There would be a time and a place for everything, even he knew that, so running for survival would be their only option.

He rocketed past the gaurds, directing the refugees to the escape pods, brushing past until he arrived, eyes widening at the issue at hand. The pods were short, not enough for him to leave. He stood infront of one, but turned behind him, a mother and daughter shivering in fear. He took a moment, looking back to the pod, then to the two.

"Go."

They praised him as he alloed them to pass, the pod closing behind him. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. This was going to fucking suck. The journey had ended......or so he thought.

A pod off in the distance began to close. There was his shot! Raven dashed to his salvation forcing himself into it with whoever could be already inside.

"Hey, sorry about this........."

Then he locked eyes with Zora.

"Ah.........shit...."

PostSubject: Re: Fall into the Star Ocean (World: SO3/4)   Fall into the Star Ocean (World: SO3/4) - Page 2 EmptyTue Jun 28, 2011 5:43 am

The space pods shot out from the ship, howling through space as the battleship that they had just been on suddenly lit up in a giant fireball that overtook everything. If they had been a second later, they would all be dead. Thankfully, they had gotten out just in time. Each one was going in a general direction, with Takato and Ima heading towards the unknown. Luckily, the Magi had looked up quite a few things while everyone was sleeping, so he knew how to work these computers, kinda. His hands hugged around the small child and ran along the keys, the computer suddenly speaking. "Distress signal operational." He nodded and gave a confirmation, knowing that it would need one. "Searching for life-supporting planets… Planet found."

Huh?

"...What kind of planet?"

The computer gladly continued,

"Elicoor II, located approximately 0.4 light years from present location. Elicoor II has an axial tilt of 32.6°, is 0.8 AUs from its parent star, and has a surface gravity of 0.9 G. Existence of humanoid life forms confirmed. This planet is registered in the Galactic Atlas as an underdeveloped planet.. Civilization level: approximately equivalent to 17th century Earth. Would you like to review the Underdeveloped Planet Preservation Pact?"

He didn't even know what that was.

"Yeah, sure."

Takato couldn't help but wonder if Ima was bored, hiding a small chuckle,

"The Underdeveloped Planet Preservation Pact was established in order to protect planets with developing civilizations. Contact with civilizations that have not reached a certain level of development is strictly prohibited by Federation law. This is due to the fact that contact with advanced civilizations has a high probability of greatly influencing the course of history on a less developed planet. All individuals and organizations belonging to the Pangalactic Federation are required to adhere to the tenets of this Pact, unless faced with a clear danger to life and limb. This Pact is one of the most important components of Pangalactic Federation law. It also serves as a guideline for civilization conduct in emergency situations. Violators will be tried by the Pangalactic Council."

Intresting, so this thing stopped quite a bit of trouble in the universe. Made sense.

"Any idea when we will arrive? Are we safe?"

Silence echoed before he was given an answer,

"At our present speed of warp 6, arrival is estimated in 104 hours. No foreseeable problems. An adequate supply of energy and food is on board. Quad Scanners are being prepared for on-board users."

Excellent. Now he just hoped this thing didn't explode.

"Eh, you okay, Ima?"

-

Earlier...

Fayt and Sophia were already at the spacepods, the brunette climbing in her own as he assured her she would be fine. "Good. The pod’s still here! Get in quick. We’re running out of time." The girl didn't seem sure though, a hint of fear burning in her eyes. Still, the boy was not about to allow her to die here. "A Federation ship will recover our pods in no time. I’ll see you at Remote Station #6. Now get going!" Guess that did it, her head vanishing into the pod as it closed up. He stood away from the hatch and watched it launch away, his eyes closing for a brief moment before turning to the remaining pod and noticing that Zora and Raven were already inside. It would be a tight fit, but it was better than going down with the doomed ship.

He quickly noticed that had they no idea what to do, shoving them slightly to the side as he drew himself up to the computer at the front. "Activation complete… Ejection in 10 seconds." Safe to say, they escaped by the skin of their teeth. The explosion of the ship rocked the pod slightly, the blue haired boy making no mention to speak to the two with him as he worked with the computer, hands running wildly over it with his green eyes flashing. "Is the distress signal okay?"

"Affirmative. Currently searching for life-supporting planets. Planet found...."

The white shirted boy scratched his cheek and arched an eyebrow, asking for more than that.

"Vanguard III, located approximately 0.5 light years from present location. Axial tilt of 35 degrees results in extreme seasonal weather. Existence of humanoid life forms confirmed. The Federation has classified Vanguard III as an Underdeveloped Planet. Civilization level: approximately equivalent to 16th-century Earth. Would you like to review the Underdeveloped Planet Preservation Pact?"

Fayt shrugged and shook his head,

"No, I already know it. When will we arrive?"

Beeps ran along the computer before he received the info he wanted,

"At our present speed of warp 6, arrival is estimated in 144 hours. No foreseeable problems. An adequate supply of energy and food is on board. Quad Scanners are being prepared for on board users ."

He shrugged, he already owned one. The Leingod sighed and turned to the two, eyes blinking,

"You two alright?"

Ima was actually fairly interested in what the computer was saying, though she didn't understand the vast majority of it. What she did get was they were going to another planet, one that neither of them had never heard of, let alone been to.

It was rather nostalgic.

Coming to Earth, the alien had known next to nothing about the foreign land. She hadn't even known about water, something that covered most of the planet! All she knew is what she had heard from her people, and the joking suggestion that they could all go to live there, as it would be perfect.

Her ship hadn't been this small, but being in this pod, going to this planet...she just couldn't shake the feeling of...whatever that human saying was for things being too familiar.

Ima missed home.

When Takato spoke to her, she blinked out of her memories and turned to him with a super wide grin. "I'm okay!" She chirped. "But how many hours are 104? I can only count to 10..."

You have to be fuckin' kiddin' me.

Raven closed his eyes to try and ease the mental anguish. 144 hours..............144 hours............144 hours with her. God damn it. Breathe Raven, breathe.

"Not being dead is nice."

He looked out, steel gray pushing through his own reflection as the stars became clearer and clearer. He tried to count them all, it didn't happen. They just kept coming and going, endlessly. Raven closed his eyes, the darkness of the void serving him well. If needed, he would be able to hibernate until they arrived.......but sleep wasn't going to happen, he feared. Reluctantly, he eased over to the two, taking a moment to mentally prepare for what will happen, then retorted.

"How are you two holding up?"

"Too much happening at once after I woke up...a bit uncomfortable, but I'll survive." Zora plainly said as she crossed her arms, trying to not take up so much space

"Meowwwwww."

A vein appeared on her forehead as she looked on Fayt's shoulder, seeing Kuro in his tiny kitty form. "Kuro, there's barely enough room i here as it is...did you really need to come out?" Her only response was a tiny meow.

Raven simply raised an eyebrow to the cat. Those three each seemed to have something too damn cute about them. Takato had that fox thing, Zora the cat, and Ima, well, she was the too damn cute aspect of her life. It was weird, seeing someone so violent as Zora have such a small companion.

He stirred uneasy, the sword on his back stiffening his spine, making it harder to even get the slightest bit comfortable. 144 hours like this, he'd be better off dead he jokingly thought to himself, but could not shake the images he had just seen. In Spira they had banded together to defeated sea monsters, creatures of vile intent. Here..........they just ran. He knew the reason why but it just wasn't enough. He never ran in his life.

"What the hell were those things?"

He couldn't shake the thought.

"I mean......was there any way we could've fought them?"

Fall into the Star Ocean (World: SO3/4) - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Fall into the Star Ocean (World: SO3/4)   Fall into the Star Ocean (World: SO3/4) - Page 2 EmptyWed Jun 29, 2011 10:16 pm

The hollow echoes of space seemed to span on forever, the rather small nature of the space-pod giving comfort to the Magi and small alien girl as they snuggled in the only seat available to them. Takato was silently asleep, his arms wrapped protectively around the blue-eyed girl, his crimson coat covering them both like a warm blanket. He had grown to discover that she didn't need sleep on the boat in Spira, but that didn't stop his tired body from nodding off. He was only human after all. Whatever he was dreaming about, it must of been good, as a rather small smile was gracing his pale lips. A small piece of paradise after a hellish day, floating in the abyss of darkness.

It was a complete unknown to the small child and her friend, but the world they were going to would be a difficult one indeed. Elicoor II was a planet with two warring nations, the population growing increasingly more violent and bloodthirsty by the day. Thankfully, the planet was only at a reach of 17th century Earth in comparison, meaning they did not have to worry about nuclear arms, swords being the main circle of weaponry in the age. One region was ruled by Airyglyph, a military superpower seeking to gain total rule of the entire continent. The blond Magi had seen many things in his wandering days, the power hungry nature of such a nation being far too common for him to be surprised.

Then, there was the Kingdom of Aquaria. Supposedly known to call itself a "Sacred Kingdom" with each passing day. It seems to possess a rather odd female-dominated society, but one where both genders are equal nonetheless. The Church of Apris was birthed from this region and spread throughout the entire continent, gaining even followers within Airyglyph, a known enemy. While seemingly more peaceful than the opposite nation, there were rather dark secrets buried underneath it all that would probably leave a bad taste with both the Magi and the small alien child. It would not be easy, wherever they landed. The planet was a torrent of war and violence, leaving the two to only landed slap bang in the middle of it all when they arrived.

Thankfully, that was some time away.

-

The other pod was not as relaxed, Fayt playing around with his Quad Scanner as he eyed the screen upon it. A rather useful tool that most of the joint universe carried, with a built in translator that could somehow twist and translate any other spoken language and force it to come out in the user's birth tongue. A genius device, in essence, but one that would render you next to useless if you did not have one while scrawling through the galaxy. Still, the space-pod said it would provide both Raven and Zora with one, it was just rather annoying matter of them not breaking it. The poor blue-haired boy had no idea what was in store for him, but he was starting to regret not jumping in the other pod.

Vanguard III would be a big change when compared with Spira and Earth, if only minor. The creatures there were more wild and odd at best, the known species a strange elf-eared race living in farming villages and possessing no clear signs of weaponry beyond very basic swords and knives. Much like Elicoor II, it was a planet that was under the clear notion of the UP3. This meant that any known use of tech beyond the set limit upon it would assure you would be arrested and imprisoned if found out. Such a simple species getting hold of such advanced tech could cause dangerous consequences for the entire planet and beyond.

"No."

A voice broke the silent air, the blue-haired boy shaking his head firmly with tired eyes. There was not a chance in hell they could of fought back, beyond taking on a few armed soldiers. Even with the unknown power and skill that Raven and Zora possessed, it would of been a rather futile effort in the end. That crimson ship on the monitor within the hotel had wiped out an entire city twice the size of Tokyo with a single blast, a blast that seemed to be one of the more minor attacks for it. That had been one ship too, who knows how many more were set in waiting to hunt down whoever tried to fight back. All in all, Fayt could only respond with what he knew,

"The Vendeeni. An advanced race that turned down the offer of joining the Pangalactic Federation awhile back. I don't know much about them beyond a few things I learned at University, one being that they hold disruptor weapons based on space-time manipulation."

Fall into the Star Ocean (World: SO3/4) - Page 2 Empty

"Well, seeing as how neither of us experienced anything with control of those two things, we don't know for sure how strong they really are." Zora said before uncrossing her arms. "Still, I don't think we'll be able to beat up a ship that's the size of your ego, Raven." she shot a glaring glance to him before shaking her head. "Especially after the hell we went through. Your weapons are like specks of dust compared to it."

Zora blinked a little as she noticed how tired Fayt looked. After a little bit, she sighed and put her left hand on his shoulder. "Hey...Fayt, right? You should probably get some sleep. It's already been like 6 hours."

Fall into the Star Ocean (World: SO3/4) - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Fall into the Star Ocean (World: SO3/4)   Fall into the Star Ocean (World: SO3/4) - Page 2 EmptyWed Jun 29, 2011 10:52 pm

Ima repressed a giggle at the sight of the sleeping Takato. Humans looked so funny and cute when they were sleeping. It made her somewhat envious that she couldn't sleep. Well, not in the way they did. If she feel asleep, they would most likely panic.

The alien also couldn't help but wish she could dream too, looking at Takato's smiling face. It must be so nice...

...Ima was also getting worried. She knew Takato was discovering more and more things about her that weren't normal for humans. He had spoken of her getting weaker when it was dark, and was obvious that he knew now that she didn't need to sleep. How long would it be before he realized that she didn't need to eat? That her ignorance of the world wasn't from being sheltered and young? And what if he already knew these things?

How long would it be before he discovered what she really was?

The alien knew she could trust him. She trusted him more than any other human, and she doubted that there would ever be a human that she trusted more. But in spite of her promise not to let fear ever hinder her again, she couldn't bring herself to tell him.

She wasn't even sure if she was more scared of him finding out, of him rejecting her afterwards, or of him just not believing her.

But for now, Ima was just content to lie against her best friend and hope that the following days without sunlight would be okay.

"And we would've been obliterated if those fish heads had weaponry on your bitch levels. Hey, they showed hate and assaulted us for no reason, who does that sound like?........"

Raven didn't bother giving her a glance. She didn't deserve it. He placed his arms behind his head, his eyes flashing a light red before returning to the cold gray. Fayt's words didn't meet with what he wanted to hear. Negativity like this is the very reason he never stood in one spot. People could be so damn depressing.

"Just don't expect me to run again. You might be used to that, I'm not."

"And how exactly are you going to deal with this situation?" Zora hissed under her breath. "I doubt that giant toothpick of yours will help, especially if you can't even move in this pod because of it. Not to mention those pathetic pebble shooters as well...It's like pitting an ant against an elephant - you're not going to win."

Kuro's ears flattened at the harsh words Zora and Raven said to each other before going into hiding, hoping to escape the current verbal battle.

"You should just shut your trap and go to sleep already!" She spat, closing her eyes. "These 144 hours aren't going to go away, and I am NOT going to spend it all fighting with you, you stupid white haired troll...Not to mention, we're all tired."

OOC: seeing as how leon's taking his glorious time with his post, I just had to post something...ANYTHING...

"If you ever insult this sword again, I'll make you choke on it."

Raven's final word settled in, a less-than-amused snarl to it. He said no, and would not after. The line had been drawn. Girls like this have been insulting his credibility, his intelligence, and essentially every aspect of his life for years now. He had the reputation of a heartbreaker, and therefore he knew what to expect.

But no one dare insult his weapon..........

The blade was a piece of him, at least as far as he was concerned, and as for it's origin and the means he came of acquiring it, to wield this weapon was the greatest of honors. With that, he let sleep's grip take him, opting for hibernation over the nuisance next to him.

Vanguard III was a bit more friendly for the three space-bound warriors, the pod falling to the planet in a rather easy manner before skidding in a simple trench. The small pod flashed and then became silent, Fayt jumping awake at the sudden beeping sound. He walked over to the computer and looked over the received data before gesturing to the top, a small smile on his lips. "Looks like we've arrived. We should go check around while we wait for assistance..." He paused and then turned to the computer, rubbing his chin before typing a few things. His quad scanner was picking something up some way away, probably an animal of some type. Still, he could not risk it being dangerous.

"A sword would be a good match for this planet’s level of development. I don’t wanna get arrested for violating the UP3. I should use my replicator to make myself a weapon, just in case.." muttered Fayt to himself as his fingers ran over the keys on the computer, a glow forming in a flash. A simple sword landed in his hands from the glow spawned from the machine, his palms giving it a test holding as he continued to observe it. "Yeah, that feels about right.." He paused and turned to the two companion, eyes blinking slightly.

"Guess we should go. You guys ready?"

A green forest would green their eyes, a forest that seemed to swarm with darkness as the blue sky shone on them above. It was very Earth-like, apart from a few odd looking flowers here and then, purple fruits on the branches above and many more slight oddities. It spoke of a very simple way of life, as if a gun and human hands had never touched the soil that they walked on. It was quite a break from that stuffy space-pod, that was for damn sure. Fresh air assaulted them as Fayt jumped out and sheathed the blade of a formed hilt, his head moving around to take a gander at the surrounding. He had certainly never been here before.

-

(Earlier..)

Many hours had passed and a certain space-pod was just about to land upon the planet, but something was going wrong. Amber eyes snapped open as an alarm blasted through the closed space, the computer letting off a fast warning that the pod was about to crash and could not safely land on the planet without intense damage to it. A faulty pod? Possible, but Takato knew that there was no way they were going to die here. His metal arm jerked up and began to spike with lightning, his features flashing to Ima as he spoke. "Ima, I'm going to need you to do something for me, okay? Hang onto me, and make sure we land as soft as possible before we hit the ground."

There was no time to say much else, his metal arm becoming a vortex of lightning as he gave a shout and let loose a violent punch into the hatch above with shock-wave of white light. A dent formed upon it, only for it to suddenly explode off as the sparks formed into drawing circles before fading, the hatch door itself vanishing in a pitch of energy. The Magi grunted and used his fleshed arm to pull the alien girl into a hug before he shot upwards and flipped off the inside of the pod, back-flipping straight out of the falling ship and into howling air. He couldn't even see the ground, the strokes of wind lashing at his body and eyes as he held Ima close.

He couldn't take this much longer, but could he really take the chance to...? After using so much already...?

He didn't really have a choice.

The vacuum of the pod and wind was suddenly pushed back as the Magi aimed his hand straight upwards as they fell, sparks crawling along the metal limb. Those upon the ground would look up in confusion as the sky became dark, flashing lightning forming with a torrent of viscous rain following. The blonde gave a sudden roar of pain and then lashed his arm downwards, a single sentence sliding over his lips. "Begone..." Then, just like that, a blue bolt of raw lightning slammed over them like a wave and cut apart the very nature of the sky. Gasps echoed above Aquaria when the sky was eclipsed by blue light, the bolt tearing into earth and causing a massive shock-wave to tear apart pavement, forming a huge trench at the gates with a single boom of sound.

"...with the thunderclap."

A certain space-pod never stood a chance with the vanishing of a large blue glyph, a clear landing zone for the falling two now formed by the attack. Amber eyes flashed and a sudden scream burst of a pair of lips as they quickly approached the ground, a command echoing over the air,

"Ima, now!"

PostSubject: Re: Fall into the Star Ocean (World: SO3/4)   Fall into the Star Ocean (World: SO3/4) - Page 2 EmptySat Jul 02, 2011 1:09 am

Out stepped the crimson beast, arms out-streching to the sky above, a yawn escaping his gapping maw. Too bad he had to awake, he was having such a good dream, too. He had his brother Drake bloodied on the ground, and was just digging in, punch after punch, over and over and over and.............

Wow......this place was gorgeous.

Raven brought his arms down to his side and stepped off, out of the way of the pod exit. Grass at his feet, sweet air filling his lungs with every breath, the wide-open world around him. The hunter's paradise. His paradise. A nod and smile came to his face as he too examined his surroundings. Mystery world or not, he'd rather be standing here on the ground than floating out there in space.

Then it seemed to hit him. His style needed to be modified.

"No Guns, huh?"

Raven shrugged, covering his guns, the handguns on his back and the sawed-off shotgun on his hip with his coat, hiding them away. A list of potential arms came to mind, filing through. Hook Daggers? Check. Nunchaku? Check. Throwing knives? check.

Sword of Azrael? Of course.

"No problem. It's kinda like a game, really. I get to get up close and personal, now."

"FINALLY!" Zora shouted as she attempted to get out of the pod. She had a hard time with it, seeing as how over half of her body was still sleeping, causing her to get stuck and tangled before the blue haired girl ended up falling out of the pod and face planting in the ground. Groaning and holding her face in pain, she got up before walking over to the two males.

"We better hurry. Looks like it's gonna get dark." she said, rubbing her face.

Ima simply nodded before starting to slow down their descent. It was harder than the child had expected, having been in the pod for so long and not seeing the sun for days, but she was still able to do it. The two landed softly and safely on the ground.

Ima couldn't help but fall to the ground the second her feet touched it. Her entire body began to shake, and Ima rubbed her arms with her hands in an attempt to warm up. It wasn't working.

She was so tired...

Yet, even as she shook, a metal hand placed itself on her small shoulder. A current of spinning light drafted itself into the body of the small alien as a certain Magi fell to his knees and never said a word. Men and women walked up to the crater, eyes growing wide at the sight of a glowing man and seemingly innocent child. Two daggers launched through the air and shot directly at the blond man, only for them to break down into dust and reform into a single cannonball. It roared at the red-head that had thrown the weapons, floating through the air and impacting a woman with a crash as amber eyes faded into a dull pitch, last remains of raw life energy splashing harmlessly across the alien girl before he hit the floor. Silence echoed, a curvy figure staring down at the child and fallen male before she held out her hand,

"Please, help them."

With that, the child and man were swarmed by helpers,

-

"Guess so."

Fayt said, looking up at the sky before blinking at a beeping sound coming from his scanner. His eyes fell to the screen and he hummed in thought, his voice echoing over the two companion "It’s picking up humanoids. Based on this reading, I’d guess it’s a village. If we start out now, we might be able to make it by nightfall..." He suddenly froze and span on his foot, putting away the scanner into a compact orb before he drew the blade with a strange amount of skill. The trees and bushes rustled, cracking of sticks and branches shooting over them. A howl boomed across the grassy field as the area began to shake, two crimson eyes snapping open from the forest,

"Don't look like we're alone..."

A hungry snarl followed, heavy and rapidly approaching footsteps following,

"Here it comes!"
