One born of human flesh...

Man is now a race of some power

Yet, what is power without a mind?

You, dogs of man, must face your destiny.

Though your days be peaceful, the end of silence draws near....

I am your Judgement.

I sundered the tongue of your fathers and shattered their arrogant power.

Will you fall the same way..?

DayBEFORE >>> 15:00

A blonde young man looks up and scratches his head before shuffling along with a rucksack over his shoulder. He seemed to blend in with the crowds of people trotting around in the streets and he never uttered a word with each step he took; utterly silent in all accounts. His green eyes took a single glance over at the clock on a nearby shop and paused with a deep sigh, as if realizing something at last. It had been far too long since he had traveled and a simple convention trip wasn't the same as this. So, how had he ended up in this mess? Really? It just didn't make sense. A lot of things were odd and liked to go wrong in his life but that didn't mean he expected to wake up in the middle of a strange street one day. How long had he been here? Two, maybe three hours?

"Hm?"

Beep....beep...beep...

Since when did his DS beep? The lad glanced down at the hanging machine on his belt and grabbed it in a flash to flip it open. It was a simple one and the most basic, barring the original ones. Red, yet with a embedding image of pretty anime girl on it; who just so happened to be flashing her underwear. Obviously not pre-made like that. Slowly he studied the once blank screen of the device and read the lines that popped up with interest until sighing with a small shrug of his shoulders. Did his card firmware screw up or did one of his friends decide to play a really bad practical joke? He couldn't get his head around it. Either way, it wasn't funny. Hell, he couldn't even boot up one of the games stored on the card itself. How was he going to play Pokemon White 2 now?

Gah. It really wasn't a time for that, was it?

"Huh. What's this...?"

Good morning
Here is today's NEWS.

1: At around 16:00, a man will be killed in a Shibuya-ku Aoyama apartment. The wounds on the corpse are consistent with an attack by a large carnivorous beast.

2: A large explosion will occur in Minato-ku Aoyama at 19:00. The cause is unknown.

3: At 21:00, a blackout will affect the entire Tokyo metropolitan area.

Strange. How does one get an email on something that shouldn't possess an inbox?

He stared.

Sadly, that wasn't the end of it.

The screen began to flicker.

"A...program?"

He tapped it once.

A clip began playing.

NICAEA
A dead face X4X delivery site.

He clicked pause instantly.

"Spam? No thanks."

This is what Dee found herself staring at as she looked at her 3DS. What the heck was with this day? First she woke up in the middle of freaking JAPAN with no recollection of how she got here, and now she was getting spam and/or prophecies on her 3DS of all things? How was this happening? And why?

She wished she could just chalk this all up to the fact that she was dreaming, but she knew that couldn't be.

With a sigh and resisting the urge to start crying a bit, the girl snapped her game system shut and shoved it in her pocket, walking off in a random direction. She kind of wanted to go to that apartment place, but she didn't speak or understand enough Japanese to get an answer as to where it was. So Dee just walked aimlessly and sang quietly to herself, trying to calm down.

What was going on? And what should she do?

DayBEFORE >>> 15:30

What he wouldn't have given for a map.

It didn't help that those weirdos in bizarre orange outfits were ranting and raving like lunatics. I mean, really? Was this what this place was like? A man who appeared to be the leader of said group was at the head of this whole thing and making a speech that would have made anyone fall asleep back home. Or at the very least question his sanity. The blonde just sighed and raised his phone so he could check the time, all while taking in the words with two very bored ears. "...And 'lo, the smiting from God against the Tower of Babel returns!" continued the leader with a strange blue hair pattern off in the distance of the street; a crowd watching with vague interest. "Now, along with our Shomonkai, let us bring the world together. With the power of the Internet, the world will be as one once more..."

Okay. That was new. A modern religious nut?

"For these next three days, believers in the power of the internet will gather in Tokyo. All members are welcome to take part!" A pause. By many and both the leader. A certain blonde, green-eyed lad could only raise his head with tired and unbelieving eyes as he stashed his phone away. Everything they were saying was only serving to irritate him more. "Believe in His Majesty and prepare for the ordeal. That is when we shall..." Okay, that was enough. Silently the boy shifted and bent down to pick up a nearby stone before pulling his arm back - then lobbing it harshly at the direction of the "nut" with a silent grunt. It hit square in center and the speaking man actually stumbled in full view of everyone watching. Words cutting off the instant it hit him. It actually left a scar.

Very few people saw who threw the stone, but many of those robed "freaks" gasped in horror nonetheless.

I am thou… thou art I…

Huh?

The blonde blinked and looked behind him; only to see nothing of the haunting voice whispering in the wind beyond the commotion he caused.

Gah. He needed a break.

Dee only passed by after the preacher was already bleeding, and stopped for a moment, wondering what happened. Did the guy need help? It looked like he already surrounded by people he knew that would help him. Not to mention she wasn't sure that they would understand her, or her them, and playing charades would just take longer to help him.

With that thought in mind, she kept walking on, still wondering how to get to that apartment. She wasn't sure if there was any sort of truth to the message she received on her 3DS, but she had nothing else to do. Though she wasn't sure what'd she do if it were true...anyway it was a start and it gave something to focus on, so Dee just kept walking and singing under her breath and hoping she'd get lucky.

This would be so much easier if someone around here spoke English...

"Umarete kita hi ni...dakishimete kureta...yasashii...ano te wo...sagashiteru..."

DayBEFORE >>> 16:00

The blonde boy couldn't believe his bloody luck. First he ran into wacked out nuts wearing weird robes and sprouting things that sent his atheist blood aflame. Now he was dealing with a small wound that looked seconds away from keeling him over. If he was being dramatic about it anyway. Which he definitely was. He had just so happened to run into a rather big dog that took a liking to chewing on his leg. Trying to anyway. Feeling teeth snap at him made him react as any normal man would in that kind of situation. Snap out and try to break the face of the creature before getting nommed in return. Oh and run away as fast as he bloody could. Now if he had studied this creature closer he would have noticed that this so-called 'dog' was far from being just that.

First thing to note that it was a bright yellow color with markings that crawled all over the "fur" - The next thing to note was that while it was just about as large as any canine, it possessed far more muscle mass than one should have; crafted more like a lion with arched hind-legs to boot. It stared at him hungrily and the lad backed off slightly in a stumble. The alley they were in was closed off from one section and the only exit was directly behind him. So, why hadn't he just turned around and ran for it like any sane man would have? Well, simply because he wasn't too sure if he could actually out-run this damn thing. Why-oh-why had he taken this turn? Oh. Right. He needed to, erm, empty his liquid tank. Yeah. Lets go with that way of describing it.

What? It was a good place. With no one around! Pity that he hadn't had thought that one through enough. Let alone kept alert. It was almost like the big doggy had appeared from nowhere. Like a ninja. A dog ninja. A ninja dog. Whatever. Safe to say he could only curl his fingers into clenched fists and grit his teeth as he backed away until he was at metal ladder leading up to an apartment top. Could he reach it in time though? The animal looked certainly happy to lunge at him and the seconds that was ticking away because of his thinking was not doing him any good. Damn. This god-hating male needed a miracle. That was irony for you.

"I need some help over here!"

He shouted, hoping for someone to hear his cry.

Best he could do. Now he wished his damn DS would stop beeping.

He thought he turned that off already. Funny.

PostSubject: Re: Devil Survivor - OVERCLOCKED   Devil Survivor - OVERCLOCKED EmptyWed Apr 17, 2013 4:22 pm

This had to be the strangest day ever. First she got magically transported to Japan by means of which she had no clue. Then she got weird emails on her 3DS, which cannot GET emails, that were either spam or some kind of strange prophecies. And now there was a guy getting attacked by some weird animal. What was it? It looked kinda like a dog, but none that she'd ever seen.

Well, that wasn't really the issue right now.

Dee picked up a few rocks of the ground and tossed them at the...whatever it was, hoping to distract it. "Climb the ladder!" She called out to the stranger. Hopefully he could, she couldn't tell quite how bad his leg was. Poor guy. Leg injuries were not fun.
